Teacher & Mentor Terms

You are responsible for keeping your name, photo, experience, education, certifications, expertise, service descriptions, price, availability, and delivery format accurate. You must not claim qualifications or outcomes you cannot substantiate.

You must have the right to use materials you upload or publish. Services and content must be lawful, age-appropriate for the intended audience, professionally delivered, and consistent with their published description.

You must protect learner information, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, use authorized communication channels responsibly, and obtain any consent required when working with children. Private learner records must not be published or reused for unrelated purposes.

TeachX may charge a platform subscription for professional tools and marketplace visibility. Where the platform does not operate a learner checkout, any bank transfer or other direct payment arrangement is between the teacher and learner. The teacher is responsible for clearly communicating payment, cancellation, invoicing, and tax obligations and must not suggest that TEARN guarantees an external payment.

If TEARN later enables payment for a particular booking or enrollment, that transaction must use the displayed platform process and applicable terms. Payment status, refunds, fees, or access must not be misrepresented or manipulated.

You must not create, purchase, exchange, pressure, or manipulate reviews; impersonate learners; duplicate misleading listings; or attempt to evade moderation. Legitimate reviews may be moderated or reported under platform rules.

Using TeachX does not by itself make a teacher, mentor, trainer, or academy an employee, agent, partner, or representative of TEARN. You remain responsible for your professional, legal, licensing, tax, and service-delivery obligations.

TEARN may pause or remove listings and restrict access for safety concerns, misleading information, complaints, non-payment of applicable platform subscriptions, or material breach. Questions may be raised through the Contact page.
