Draft for final legal and business review
Platform Terms
These draft terms describe the intended basis for using TeachX Guru and LearnX Guru. They require final legal and business review before becoming effective.
Accounts and acceptable use
Users are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access credentials, and activity under their account. The platform must not be used for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or rights-infringing activity, or to interfere with other users or platform security.
Platform services and roles
The platform provides tools that may help teachers and mentors offer services and learners discover and book them. Teachers and mentors remain responsible for their descriptions, qualifications, availability, and delivery. Learners are responsible for evaluating suitability, attending booked sessions, and communicating relevant needs.
Payments, subscriptions, and cancellations
Prices and applicable charges should be shown before payment. Some services may involve recurring subscriptions. Cancellation and refund treatment is described in the Refund Policy and must be reviewed before purchase.
Platform role
The platform facilitates interactions and related administration. Unless expressly stated in finalized terms, it does not itself provide the independent teaching or mentoring service and does not guarantee a particular learning outcome.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or ended where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, material breach, or misuse. Users may stop using the service and may request account support through the contact process.
Liability and changes
Any warranties, exclusions, and limits of liability must be finalized for the applicable business and legal context. Nothing in this draft is intended to exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate channel.
